Unlike a traditional law firm, this is a true 9-to-5 in-house role where you are a strategic partner, not just a service provider. You will sit at the intersection of law and private equity, managing sophisticated real estate transactions for a firm that specializes in high-yield private funds and real estate loans.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage legal aspects of real estate debt transactions, including loan originations, syndications, and asset management.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial real estate loan documents and inter-creditor agreements.
- Collaborate directly with the investment team to assess legal risks and structure creative solutions for private fund investments.
- Ensure compliance with SEC regulations and internal investment mandates.
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience: 3 years of sophisticated legal experience in Commercial Real Estate, Private Equity, or Debt Funds.
- Background: Strong foundation in lending/commercial lenders, REITs, or real estate-focused law firms.
- Mindset: Entrepreneurial, detail-oriented, and ready to thrive in a fast-paced investment environment.
- Education: JD from an accredited law school and active Bar membership.
Salary and Other Compensation
The annual salary for this position is between $200,000 – $250,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This range is flexible for highly qualified candidates.
Bonus: Discretionary annual performance bonus.
