Position Overview:
Our clients are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Real Estate Transactional Attorney to join their growing practice in Stamford, CT. This role is ideal for an attorney with at least two years of experience handling a variety of commercial and/or residential real estate transactions who is looking to take on meaningful responsibility in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle all aspects of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, purchase and sale agreements, leases, and loan documents
- Provide practical legal advice and risk assessment on transactional matters
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Admission to the Connecticut Bar (or ability to waive in)
- Minimum of 2 years of real estate transactional experience
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and organizational skills
Work Expectations:
This role offers flexibility with an informal expectation of approximately 150 billable hours per month (1,800 annually). This is a guideline rather than a strict requirement, with an emphasis on maintaining high-quality work and balanced productivity.
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $125k – $180k Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
