Job Title: Paralegal

About the Firm:
Our client is a well-established California law firm known for its strong reputation in civil litigation, particularly in insurance defense and complex litigation matters.
They are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal to join our Sacramento office. This role will support attorneys in all phases of litigation, from case inception through trial preparation, and is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with case management, including maintaining case files and tracking deadlines
- Draft, proofread, and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery
- Manage and respond to discovery requests, including document production and organization
- Coordinate depositions, court hearings, and trial schedules
- Communicate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel as needed
- Conduct legal and factual research
- Prepare trial binders, exhibits, and other materials for hearings and trial
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of paralegal experience, preferably in civil litigation or insurance defense
- Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred
- Strong knowledge of California court rules and filing procedures (state and federal)
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between [$100,000 – $120,000 annually]. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
