Litigation Paralegal
Location: Jefferson City, MO
Schedule: In-Person | Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $45,000–$60,000 annualized compensation, paid hourly

I’m partnering with an established Jefferson City law firm that is looking to add a Paralegal to its team.
This is a strong opportunity for someone who wants to build a long-term career in a professional, stable legal environment while gaining exposure to a variety of practice areas.
The firm has a strong local presence, a collaborative team structure, and a history of investing in the development of its attorneys and support staff.
What You'll Be Doing
- Provide legal and administrative support to attorneys
- Assist with litigation and case preparation
- Prepare, organize, and maintain legal documents and case files
- Assist with discovery, filings, research, and other case-related tasks
- Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and outside parties
- Track deadlines, calendars, and case activity
- Support attorneys across multiple practice areas
- Utilize legal research, case management, and document management systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree preferred, but not required
- 1 year of litigation experience required
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Case.net, PACER, or Westlaw Edge is a plus
- Comfortable using Zoom and other remote communication tools
Compensation & Benefits
- $45,000–$60,000 annualized compensation, paid hourly
- Overtime paid at time and a half
