Position Overview:
The client is seeking a highly accomplished Senior Attorney / Counsel to join its growing litigation team in Irvine. This opportunity is ideal for attorneys currently practicing at top AM200 law firms who are looking to work alongside elite trial lawyers in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment while maintaining a hybrid work schedule.
The ideal candidate will bring exceptional academic credentials, sophisticated litigation experience, and a strong track record handling complex matters in state and federal courts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage sophisticated commercial litigation matters from inception through trial and appeal
- Draft and argue substantive motions, including dispositive motions and complex discovery disputes
- Conduct and defend depositions, oversee discovery strategy, and manage case development
- Handle court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation
- Collaborate closely with partners and clients on litigation strategy and case management
- Mentor junior associates and contribute to team development
- Maintain strong client relationships while delivering strategic and business-focused legal solutions
Qualifications
- J.D. from a top 25 U.S. law school strongly preferred
- Currently practicing at an AM200 law firm or comparable sophisticated litigation practice
- 2 years of complex litigation experience
- Strong background in commercial litigation, intellectual property litigation, business disputes, or class actions preferred
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between [$350,000 – $450,000 annually]. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
