Position Overview:
A well-established law firm is seeking a Civil Litigation Attorney to join its growing litigation practice in Exton, Pennsylvania. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with strong courtroom experience who is looking to handle sophisticated civil litigation matters from inception through resolution.
Preferred Experience
- Strong preference for Real Estate Litigation (residential or commercial).
- Attorneys with experience in Construction Litigation, Employment Litigation, Corporate/Business Litigation, or other complex civil litigation practices are also encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Handle civil litigation matters from case inception through resolution.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
- Manage discovery, including document review, written discovery, and depositions.
- Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement conferences.
- Maintain an organized caseload while meeting litigation deadlines.
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in Pennsylvania (or ability to become licensed promptly).
- 3 years of civil litigation experience preferred.
- Experience handling real estate litigation is highly desired.
- Strong legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $150,000 – $170,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
