About the Opportunity:
Our client is seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to join our growing litigation practice in Los Angeles. This role is ideal for an attorney with extensive experience handling real estate, and landlord-tenant disputes who is looking to take ownership of a sophisticated caseload while mentoring junior attorneys and contributing to the firm's continued growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage a diverse civil litigation caseload from intake through trial.
- Handle disputes involving real estate, construction, and landlord-tenant matters.
- Develop litigation strategy and advise clients on risk management.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, mediation briefs, and trial documents.
- Manage all aspects of trial preparation and trial proceedings.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the California State Bar.
- Minimum 2 years of civil litigation experience.
- Significant experience in real estate, construction, and/or landlord-tenant litigation.
- Strong courtroom advocacy, deposition, and negotiation skills.
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $180k-$300k. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
