We are a well-established defense firm seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with 2 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Walnut Creek. Our practice covers a broad range of sophisticated litigation matters including complex commercial disputes, environmental actions, employment litigation, and class actions. Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse civil litigation caseload from inception through resolution.
- Draft and argue motions, pleadings, discovery, and briefs with precision and advocacy.
- Take and defend depositions, attend hearings, mediations, and trial proceedings.
- Work directly with clients to provide strategic advice and case updates.
- Collaborate with experienced litigators, including attorneys with BigLaw backgrounds, to develop case strategy and refine litigation skills.
Ideal Candidates:
- 3 years of litigation experience.
- Experience in complex commercial, employment, environmental, or class action litigation is preferred but not required.
- Excellent legal writing, research, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
- Experience handling a diverse civil litigation practice is highly valued.
- Attorneys with BigLaw training are encouraged to apply, though it is not required.
- Must be licensed and in good standing with the California Bar.
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual base salary range for this position is $180,000 – $250,000, plus eligibility for discretionary annual bonuses. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on factors such as market, skills, education, experience, and other relevant qualifications.
