Salary: $120,000 - $200,000 per year

We are a regional civil litigation firm with 50 attorneys and offices across Southern California, Northern California, Central California, Nevada, and Florida. For over 30 years, we have served as approved panel counsel for both domestic carriers and London market insurers, defending third-party claims from pre-suit through jury trial and appeal. Our practice spans property and casualty, professional liability, commercial transportation, and inland marine, with deep experience across premises liability, products liability, construction defect, construction site accidents, cyber liability, environmental, trucking and heavy equipment, public entity defense, and more. We also advise excess carriers and serve as monitoring counsel on catastrophic claims with exposure into excess limits, and represent a wide range of self-insured entities across construction, hospitality, retail, transportation, and financial services industries.

x•Handle high-exposure insurance defense matters across premises liability, products liability, construction defect, and additional specialty lines including trucking, professional liability, cyber, environmental, and public entity defense
- Independently manage your own caseload from pre-suit through trial and appeal
- Drive all phases of litigation including discovery, depositions, motion practice, dispositive motions, and written case evaluations
- Draft and negotiate discovery responses, motions, and demand evaluations with strong written advocacy
- Work directly with approved panel carrier clients, self-insured entities, and London market insurers
- Comply with carrier-specific billing guidelines, reporting requirements, and e-billing systems
- J.D. and licensed to practice in California
- Minimum 3 years of insurance defense experience
- Experience in one or more of the following: premises liability, products liability, construction defect, construction site accidents, professional liability, trucking and heavy equipment, public entity defense, cyber liability, environmental, sexual abuse defense, fire, subrogation, or theft and employee dishonesty
