A highly respected boutique law firm in White Plains is seeking a Commercial Litigation Attorney with 2 years of experience to join its growing litigation practice. The firm represents businesses, high-net-worth individuals, and institutional clients across a variety of complex litigation, corporate, and real estate matters. Attorneys are given substantial responsibility, direct client interaction, and meaningful courtroom exposure early in their careers.
Responsibilities:
- Handle commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda
- Conduct legal research and discovery
- Participate in depositions, mediations, and court appearances
- Collaborate directly with partners and clients on case strategy
- Manage multiple litigation matters in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
- 2 years of commercial litigation experience preferred
- Strong motion practice experience required
- Trial experience is not required
- Experience with corporate or real estate litigation is a plus
- Licensed and in good standing in New York (NJ bar admission is a plus)
- Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills
- Team-oriented with a strong work ethic and ownership mentality
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $130,000 – $190,000. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
