We are seeking a highly motivated, innovative and enthusiastic staff member to join our Operations Division as an Administrative Specialist - Records Management Technician.
An Administrative Specialist - Records Management Technician performs day-to-day general production activities associated with supporting an Imaging and Records Management Center including basic and complex document preparation for scanning. This position operates all standard County scanners, basic and advanced indexing/data entry of documents, ensures Quality Assurance/Quality Control of images and indexes are adhered to, maintains records activity in the vault, maintains appropriate department records and files, and provides general to advanced assistance with the Imaging and Records Management processes.
This position is typically a Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM hybrid role that requires at least 1 day/week in the office. You will be required to have adequate internet access and space for remote work. Larimer County provides a one-time remote work stipend to assist with equipment and office supply needs for remote workspaces.

Responsibilities
What you'll be doing:
- Receiving departmental documentation for scanning production.
- Inputting documents into the imaging system by scanning and indexing departmental documents according to established imaging procedures.
- Performing data entry of a variety of index fields associated with each document class type.
- Ensuring documents are clear and indexed properly by performing standard quality assurance and quality control processes for scanning and indexing.
- Maintaining records of production activity by document type, record series, and/or equipment readings.
- Assisting with record retention standards and preparation of documents for imaging.
- Explaining and assisting departmental liaisons with the preparation of necessary documentation to submit for an imaging project.
- Attending internal or divisional staff meetings as required.
- Entering cases into the records management system and generates documentation as necessary.
