This is a part-time, event-driven position with a flexible schedule, primarily working afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the event calendar. What you'll be doing:
- Efficiently move, place, and arrange tables, chairs, drapes, and equipment according to detailed floor plans and data sheets.
- Ensuring all event spaces are "show-ready" by performing proactive cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and debris removal.
- Reading and interpreting semi-complex directions and diagrams to ensure setups are completed accurately the first time, minimizing the need for revisions.
- Working across diverse campus locations, including the Horse Barn, Livestock Arena, Expo areas, maintenance shops, and outdoor spaces.
- Working effectively as part of a high-functioning team or independently on special non-event projects as assigned.
- Anticipating maintenance needs and address them immediately to keep facilities attractive and inviting for guests.

What we're looking for:
- Bring hands-on experience with event setup, cleaning, or facility maintenance and can accurately follow layout plans and instructions.
- Willingness to learn and operate equipment such as forklifts, floor scrubbers, and sweepers is expected, along with comfort using basic technology tools like Google Calendar, Drive, and Sheets.
- Attention to detail helps ensure event spaces are clean, organized, and presentation-ready.
- Team oriented individual, communicate effectively and are willing to assist wherever needed.
- Flexibility and reliability, including availability for mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays, along with dependable transportation.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Possession of a valid Driver's License preferred.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role. Candidates must be able to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing. Flexibility is important, as work schedules are driven by event needs and include preparing, maintaining, and tearing down events. The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with other team members is required. While the dress code is generally casual, employees are expected to maintain a clean, neat, and professional appearance that reflects positively on The Ranch when interacting with clients and the public.
