Job Summary (List Format): Security Architect Data Center Colocation and Migration

  • Develop and implement layered Zero Trust security tagging rules for agency applications and services.
  • Review and analyze connectivity requirements for DSS remote sites, cloud-hosted applications, and cloud services.
  • Protect IT infrastructure by minimizing lateral movement opportunities for threat actors.
  • Identify and document all applications, services, and resources requiring data communication.
  • Perform application and dependency mapping and develop workflow tagging for improved visibility.
  • Visualize application and service workflows using Splunk or similar tooling.
  • Review and classify services and resources to support agency-wide applications and enterprise services.
  • Establish and enforce least-privilege communication rules for all data flows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and agile teams to ensure security requirements are met.
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand and address security concerns.
  • Utilize a variety of security tools (e.g., Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Splunk, Crowdstrike, Rapid7) to implement and monitor security controls.
  • Manage projects and lead efforts in policy development, segmentation, and access control.

Required Experience

  • 5 years in security policy development, application dependency mapping, micro-segmentation, and dynamic access control.
  • Strong hands-on experience with a wide range of security and network tools.
  • Proven track record in agile environments, project management, and client communication.

Salary : $55 - $60
