Job Summary: – End User Services (EUS) Engineer (Midtown, NY)
- Manage global desktop environments, including devices, system imaging, and application packaging.
- Oversee automated deployments using Intune, Microsoft Endpoint Manager (MEM), and PowerShell scripting.
- Administer and maintain Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), specifically VMware Horizon.
- Provide in-depth user support, focusing on trading applications and trader support within a financial services environment.
- Respond to IT service requests and resolve incidents within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Perform user account administration and support system upgrades (e.g., OS upgrades).
- Assist with IT infrastructure tasks, such as configuring network switches, managing access points, and organizing server cabinets.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and best practices.
- Proactively implement improvements to ensure secure, high-quality IT support for end users.
- Handle large-scale device management (1,000 devices) and maintain strong documentation practices.
- Hands-on experience with modern workspace technologies (Intune, MEM).
- Advanced PowerShell scripting skills for automation.
- Proven experience supporting trading environments in the financial sector.
- Strong VDI management experience (VMware Horizon).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
