Job Summary (Data Engineer - Mid Level)
- Develop and maintain machine learning/artificial intelligence data pipelines
- Design scalable data models, including handling slowly changing dimensions (SCDs) and performance optimization
- Cleanse and transform data for analytics and reporting
- Support and maintain ETL/ELT workflows, primarily using IBM Data Stage (transitioning to IBM Cloud Pak)
- Assist in migrating legacy ETL jobs from Data Stage to IBM Cloud Pak
- Use SQL for data warehousing, analytics, and data engineering tasks
- 5 years in SQL, data warehousing/analytics, and data engineering
- Experience with ETL/ELT tools (IBM Cloud Pak, Data Stage, Five Tran, Talend, or Informatica)
- 2 years working with Snowflake (Snowflake Data Engineer Certification desired)
- 3 years of object-oriented programming in Python (Java or C# experience a plus)
- 2 years working with Azure or similar cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
- Experience with IBM Cloud, DB2, watsonX.ai, and supply chain data environments
- Must provide proof of relocation to St. Louis, MO if not local (relocation costs not covered)
- Excellent communication skills required
