Senior Finance Associate – BDC

Company Overview:

A leading global private investment firm with approximately $215 billion in assets under management is seeking a Senior Finance Associate to join its Business Development Companies' reporting team. The role involves working closely with various departments to ensure compliance and accurate financial reporting.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review SEC filings such as 10-Q and 10-K
• Conduct weekly performance reporting, including returns, positioning, and attribution analysis
• Estimate weekly dividends and review the Administrator’s NAV package
• Prepare materials for the BDC Board of Directors and work with Investor Relations on investor decks and earnings releases
• Perform analytical review of quarterly balance sheets and income statements
• Interact with outside accountants for audit work and third-party service providers for internal controls
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and manage capital reporting to investors of Joint Ventures
• Apply provisions from complex legal documents for Joint Ventures
• Collaborate with Portfolio Management to address investment objectives and constraints
• Address financial reporting process issues with Operations and the outside Administrator
  
  

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of public accounting or relevant financial services experience
• Strong Excel skills, including developing templates
• Four-year college degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• CPA or equivalent qualification preferred; interest in CFA a plus
  
  

Compensation: Salary: $95,000 – $110,000, Plus Bonus
