Senior Associate, Fund Accounting

Company Overview:

A leading global growth investor with over $120 billion in assets under management is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to join their flagship Growth Equity fund accounting team. This role offers significant ownership of the NAV close cycle and direct engagement with senior finance leadership.

Job Responsibilities:

• Own the comprehensive NAV close process for the Growth Equity strategy
• Prepare balance sheet and income statement reconciliations and conduct general ledger analyses
• Partner with the Valuations team for quarterly fair value adjustments
• Build and maintain models for incentive fee calculations and carried interest allocations
• Manage quarterly expense accruals, budgets, and invoice tracking
• Monitor compliance with credit facility agreements
• Lead quarterly review and analysis of partners’ capital accounts
• Support preparation and review of audited financial statements
• Manage quarterly independence compliance processes
• Collaborate with international fund accounting teams for local NAV close functions
• Design and improve internal controls across the fund accounting function
• Serve as a point of contact for general partner and investor inquiries
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; concentration in accounting preferred
• 3–5 years of experience in public accounting, preferably with a Big 4 or national firm
• Deep understanding of partnership accounting structures
• Advanced Excel proficiency
• CPA certified or actively pursuing CPA licensure
• Experience with Investran, Geneva, or comparable fund accounting platforms
• Familiarity with data and reporting tools such as Alteryx, Anaplan, or Power BI
• Prior exposure to international fund structures or multi-jurisdiction reporting
  
  

Compensation: Salary: $115,000 – $130,000, Plus Bonus
