Investment Operations Analyst

Company Overview:

A leading asset management firm with $30 billion in assets under management offers investment solutions across major asset classes using sophisticated quantitative techniques. They are seeking an Analyst for their Investment Operations team to support trading operations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide functional support to investment teams and internal departments such as client service, compliance, legal, and treasury.
• Manage equity, fixed income, and FX trade capture, delivery, affirmation, and settlement across various markets.
• Handle derivative trade capture, delivery, collateral management, settlements, and reconciliation.
• Communicate with administrators, counterparties, and custodians on account administration and trade-related matters.
• Facilitate the onboarding of new investment products and establish new accounts in systems.
• Collaborate with IT and developers to improve daily processes and participate in special projects.
• Establish and maintain team procedures, checklists, and training materials.
• Train and coach colleagues on new processes and procedures.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 3 years of relevant industry experience.
• Bachelor’s degree, with a concentration in finance preferred.
• Understanding of derivative contracts, equity, and fixed income securities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and formulas; understanding of SQL concepts is a plus.
• Current or near-term enrollment in CFA or graduate degree program is a plus.
  
  

Compensation: Salary: $80,000 – $100,000, Plus Bonus
