Senior Finance Associate – Special Situations

Company Overview:

A leading global private investment firm with approximately $185 billion in assets under management is seeking a Senior Finance Associate to join their Special Situations team. This role will focus on providing bespoke capital solutions and supporting growth across various strategic initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review internal and external financial statements, P&L/NAV/allocation packages, and investor deliverables
• Coordinate with fund administrators and auditors, and maintain internal controls and accounting policies
• Partner with various teams on strategic initiatives and assist with process automation and efficiency
• Apply provisions in complex legal documents, including capital call and allocation, carried interest and distribution, management fees, expenses, and investment restrictions/compliance
• Manage comprehensive financial reporting, including daily investment analysis, monthly investor capital reporting, and quarterly and annual financial statements
• Collaborate with IT and consultants to implement systematic solutions and efficiencies in accounting systems and reporting
  
  

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of experience in public accounting, audit, or tax, or other relevant work experience
• Strong Excel skills, including developing efficient templates
• Experience with VBA, Power BI, Alteryx, or Python is recommended
• Four-year college degree in accounting, finance, or related field required
• CPA, CFA, or equivalent qualification is a plus
  
  

Compensation: Salary: $90,000 – $110,000, Plus Bonus
