A global investment firm with approximately $504 billion in assets under management is seeking an Analyst to join their Segment and Non-GAAP Reporting team. The role involves analysis and reporting on company financial results and participation in special projects.
Job Responsibilities:
- Preparation of GAAP and operating financial results on a monthly and quarterly basis, including detailed segment and/or product line reporting and analysis.
- Collect and maintain supporting documentation used for reporting and analysis.
- Assist with preparation of supporting schedules and analysis for internal and external reporting used by senior management and board of directors.
- Assist in synthesizing and summarizing detailed financial data to create meaningful, high-level, result-oriented analysis.
- Improve and build processes designed to meet the growth objectives of the firm.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. An advanced degree and CPA/CMA professional credentials are a plus.
- 0-2 years of related experience, including experience in P&L analysis and accounting.
- Experience in Insurance or financial services and public accounting is desired.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Proficiency with accounting systems, including ledger applications (PeopleSoft and SAP), query tools (Smartview, Essbase), Onestream consolidation platform, and Workiva.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills for creating insightful, actionable reporting.
- Strong technical skills with the ability to understand complex products and models.
- Experience with artificial intelligence in a business environment/use case is a plus.
