Sanitation Supervisor
We're looking for a dependable, proactive, and detail-oriented Sanitation Supervisor to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized chocolate manufacturing facility.
This is a hands-on role that's perfect for someone who takes initiative, works independently, and is comfortable adjusting priorities in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and oversee daily cleaning of production areas, offices, breakrooms, and facility spaces.
- Handle daily trash removal and dishwashing using three-compartment sinks and an automatic dishwasher.
- Complete scheduled deep cleaning of equipment, floor drains, warehouse areas, and other facilities.
- Maintain accurate sanitation records and cleaning documentation.
- Monitor inventory of cleaning chemicals and employee hygiene supplies.
- Communicate with production staff to coordinate daily and unexpected cleaning needs.
- Assist with ATP and allergen testing, including allergen changeovers.
- Identify sanitation concerns and take initiative to address them promptly.
- Follow food safety and workplace sanitation procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience in food production or manufacturing.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Basic computer skills.
- Previous supervisory experience, HACCP knowledge, or a bachelor's degree is a plus.
