How YOU Will Contribute
- Support maintenance department functions by maintaining a well-stocked and organized parts room that supports preventive maintenance initiatives.
- Receive maintenance parts into the storeroom and verify part numbers and quantities.
- Enter parts into inventory systems and store materials in designated locations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through physical counts, cycle counts, and inventory adjustments.
- Perform routine physical inventories of maintenance parts and supplies.
- Coordinate part repairs and returns with vendors and service providers.
- Contact vendors to source parts, obtain pricing, confirm availability, and manage delivery schedules.
- Identify and develop new or alternative vendors to secure competitive pricing and improved service.
- Expedite purchase requisitions and orders to prevent production downtime.
- Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to ensure critical parts are readily available.
About YOU
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a manufacturing environment.
- Up to 5% local and/or overnight travel may be required.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
Preferred
- 2 years of inventory, storeroom, or clerical experience.
- Food manufacturing experience.
- Experience working with ERP/MRP systems.
