Are you an Electrical Controls Engineer who enjoys being hands-on with automation while also influencing the future of manufacturing technology? We are seeking a motivated engineer to join our Corporate Engineering team, where you'll serve as the electrical and controls expert at a manufacturing facility while partnering across the organization to deliver innovative automation solutions and capital projects.

How You Will Contribute
- Serve as the facility's subject matter expert for electrical controls and automation systems.
- Design, develop, program, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI systems.
- Drive automation solutions that support long-term business objectives.
- Lead electrical and controls aspects of capital projects.
- Develop control system architecture, specifications, and implementation plans.
- Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
- Partner closely with Maintenance and Operations teams to resolve equipment and process issues.
- Work with Engineering, Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to improve plant performance.
- Provide technical guidance and training related to controls and automation systems.
- Support the development and implementation of engineering standards and best practices.
About You
- Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Automation Technology, or a related technical field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in:
- Electrical controls
- PLC programming
- HMI development
- Circuit design
- Manufacturing environments
- Experience troubleshooting industrial electrical and control systems
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to program, troubleshoot, and optimize Fanuc robotics systems including PLC to Fanuc integration.
Preferred Qualifications
- Manufacturing or food manufacturing experience
- Experience with packaging automation and automated production equipment
- Knowledge of capital project execution and equipment commissioning
- Understanding of industrial networking, instrumentation, and control systems
- Professional license path background or progression toward technical certification and advancement
