What are the responsibilities and job description for the SPEECH-LANGUAGE Pathologist position at Lancesoft - State Account?
We are seeking a qualified and student-focused Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide speech and language services to students with communication disorders. The SLP will assess, diagnose, and support students with speech, language, voice, fluency, and related communication needs to help them succeed academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services to students individually and in groups
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education staff
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Support students with articulation, language, fluency, and communication disorders
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathology license or credential
- California Clinical or Rehabilitative Services Credential (Language, Speech & Hearing) preferred
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with K-12 students
- Knowledge of IEP processes and special education compliance
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse educational environment
