Medical Technologist (MT/MLS) - $10K SOB + Excellent Pay + Benefits

We are seeking a full-time Medical Technologist (MT/MLS) to support its hospital laboratory. This permanent W-2 position offers $36.41–$43.69 per hour, a $10,000 sign-on bonus, excellent benefits, and a $2 per hour weekend bonus. The role includes day/evening shifts, nights, weekends, and call rotation, with overnight accommodations provided while on shift or on call.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process specimens.
• Operate automated laboratory analyzers.
• Evaluate and report test results.
• Perform manual laboratory testing.
• Work across all areas of the laboratory, including microbiology and immunohematology.
• Perform quality control, proficiency testing, and quality assurance activities.
• Participate in performance-improvement projects.
• Cover nights, weekends, and on-call assignments.

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Biology or Chemistry.
• ASCP or equivalent certification.
• Active Montana Clinical Laboratory Scientist license.
• At least two years of laboratory experience.
• Experience with microbiology, immunohematology, automated analyzers, and manual testing.
• Knowledge of CLIA, HIPAA, compliance, quality assurance, and quality control.
• Ability to work independently and participate in on-call coverage.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
