Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) | $10K SOB + Benefits

Job Summary:

We are hiring a qualified Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) / Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) for a full-time permanent position in Montana. The ideal candidate will perform laboratory testing, operate automated analyzers, evaluate test results, and maintain quality control across multiple laboratory departments, including Microbiology and Immunohematology.
Pay Rate: $36.41–$43.69 per hour
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000
Weekend Bonus: $2/hour

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare specimens and operate automated laboratory analyzers.
• Perform routine and manual laboratory tests and evaluate results.
• Work across laboratory departments, including Microbiology and Immunohematology.
• Maintain quality control, proficiency testing, and quality assurance.
• Follow laboratory safety, CLIA, HIPAA, and compliance standards.
• Work independently during call rotations and collaborate with other departments.

Requirements:

• Degree in Biology or Chemistry.
• ASCP or equivalent certification.
• Montana state licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist.
• Laboratory experience, including Microbiology and Immunohematology, preferred.
• Ability to work independently and cover all laboratory areas.
