What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Services position at LanceSoft?
Location: Oklahoma City, OK Pay Range: $28.00 to $32.00 / Hour The Skills You Bring: High school diploma, technical certification, vocational training, or equivalent experience required. 1 years of experience in data center operations, structured cabling, telecommunications, field services, or IT infrastructure support. Working knowledge of data center hardware, racks, servers, networking equipment, power distribution systems, and structured cabling. Understanding of copper and fiber cabling practices, basic optical networking concepts, and installation standards. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, installation documentation, and methods of procedure (MOPs). Experience performing rack-and-stack, cabling, testing, and equipment installation activities with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to quality and safety. Ability to collaborate effectively with technicians, project teams, vendors, and customers while managing assigned work independently. Requirements: Comfortable working in a physically active environment where lifting, standing, working at heights, and moving equipment may be required. Ability to work on ladders or elevated work platforms and comply with all applicable safety requirements and certifications. Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs. Valid state ID or driver’s license.
