• Pay: $36.41–$43.69/hour (Based on experience) Benefits
• Sign-On Bonus: $10,000
• Weekend Bonus: Additional $2.00/hour
• Shift: Day/Evening, Nights, Weekends & On-Call Rotation

Overnight accommodations are available while on an overnight shift or when on call.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Medical Technologist (MT/MLS) to join our hospital laboratory team.

The ideal candidate will have strong clinical laboratory experience across multiple departments, including microbiology and immunohematology, and be comfortable working independently in a hospital laboratory environment.

-> Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, process, and evaluate clinical specimens.
• Operate and troubleshoot automated laboratory analyzers.
• Perform and document accurate laboratory testing.
• Evaluate and report test results according to established procedures.
• Perform manual laboratory testing as required.
• Work across multiple laboratory departments, including:
• • Microbiology
  • Immunohematology/Blood Bank
  • Chemistry
  • Hematology and other laboratory areas as needed
• Perform quality control and proficiency testing.
• Participate in quality assurance activities.
• Follow applicable laboratory policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in performance-improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate documentation and laboratory records.
• Provide coverage for nights, weekends, and on-call assignments.
• Work collaboratively with laboratory staff and other healthcare professionals.

-> Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
• ASCP certification or equivalent certification required.
• Active Montana Clinical Laboratory Scientist license required.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical laboratory experience.
• Hands-on experience with:
• • Microbiology
  • Immunohematology/Blood Bank
  • Automated laboratory analyzers
  • Manual laboratory testing
• Knowledge of CLIA, HIPAA, laboratory compliance, quality assurance, and quality control.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability and willingness to participate in night, weekend, and on-call rotations.
• Strong communication, organization, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Compensation & Incentives

• $36.41–$43.69 per hour
• $10,000 sign-on bonus
• Additional $2.00/hour weekend bonus
