Role Description
Lamar University seeks an Assistant Professor of Marketing for a full-time, on-site position located in Beaumont, TX. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate-level courses in marketing, conducting and publishing high-quality research in peer-reviewed journals, and actively participating in departmental, college, and university service activities. The successful candidate will also mentor students, engage in curriculum development to address emerging trends in marketing, and contribute to fostering partnerships with local businesses and organizations.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Market Research and Consumer Behavior
- Proven knowledge of Marketing Management and general Marketing principles
- Strong Research skills with a track record of scholarly publications
- Ph.D. or equivalent in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (ABD candidates may be considered)
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment
- Teaching experience at the college or university level is strongly preferred
