Senior System Administrator

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior System Administrator based in Beaumont, TX. The Senior System Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining IT systems, troubleshooting system and network issues, providing technical support to ensure seamless operations, and administering network infrastructure. They will ensure robust system performance, security, and reliability while adhering to institutional policies and best practices for IT management.

• Proficiency in System Administration, including managing servers, storage, and enterprise technologies
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve system or network issues effectively
• Experience in providing technical support and resolving IT-related inquiries
• Expertise in Network Administration, including configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of network systems
• Strong knowledge of Information Technology systems and best practices
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Prior experience in an educational or enterprise environment is a plus
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft, Cisco, or VMware are highly desirable
