• Help organize and run pickleball open play
o Playing with members during open play is a big plus
• Support pickleball league nights (Monday evenings)
• Assist with pickleball tournaments (setup, flow, brackets, on-court support)
• Help with summer programming:
o Adult clinics
o Kids programs
o Interclub events
o Charity events
• Provide hitting sessions and practice play with members when appropriate
Court & Facility Maintenance:
We take pride in our courts. You’ll help with routine maintenance, including:
Clay & Court Care
• Brush/drag clay courts
• Line and tape courts
• Rake and spread new clay as needed
• Adjust watering (on/off, timing)
• Address algae and weeds
• Blow courts clear of pine needles and debris
Facility & Equipment
• Maintain nets, windscreens, fences, gates, and signage
• Manage trash cans and water coolers
• Wash and organize pickleballs
• Maintain tools, brushes, tubes, and other court equipment
• Light inventory support (balls, paddles, demos, grips)
• Optional bonus: racquet stringing experience
What We’re Looking For:
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
• Comfortable feeding balls consistently
• Strong communication and member-service skills
• Willingness to handle both coaching and maintenance tasks
• Physically able to work outdoors and lift equipment
Strong Plus
• Solid pickleball player who enjoys open play
• Experience assisting leagues or tournaments
• Tennis background (especially on clay courts)
• Stringing or inventory experience
Ideal Candidate:
This role is a great fit for:
• College or former competitive players
• Coaches-in-training or teaching pros
• Strong recreational players who love being on court
• Someone who enjoys variety — coaching, organizing, playing, and maintaining
Why This Is a Great Summer Position:
• Consistent daytime hours with evenings limited to league night
• Significant time on court, including playing with members
• Professional, welcoming club culture
• Beautiful Tahoe setting
• Opportunity to grow responsibility over the season
Salary : $20 - $25
