Overview

LABUR is partnering with a client to drive a critical SAP S/4HANA transformation initiative aimed at modernizing core business processes and enabling scalability. This engagement requires a seasoned Program Manager to lead complex implementation and conversion efforts, ensuring strategic alignment and timely delivery. The consultant will provide leadership and guidance across workstreams, leveraging deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA and proven methodologies to mitigate risk, optimize performance, and achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Management:

• Lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA project lifecycles, from initiation through closure, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, schedules, budgets, status reports, and risk management strategies.
• Oversee the planning, execution, monitoring, and controlling of project activities, ensuring adherence to agreed-upon scope, timelines, and costs.
• Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing effective resolution strategies.
• Manage changes in operational plans to optimize project outcomes.
• Ensure project execution aligns with the project charter, scope statement, and project management plan.
  
  

Team & Stakeholder Management

• Lead, mentor, and guide cross-functional project teams, including developers, consultants, business analysts, and external vendors, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and manage complex integrations across multiple systems.
• Establish strong relationships with stakeholders and internal teams, managing expectations and facilitating effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements, provide updates, and drive decision-making.
• Provide regular project status updates to management and project teams, actively seeking and addressing feedback.
• Manage deployment-related cutover and go-live activities, including planning and scheduling with data conversion and training teams.
• Manage post-go-live support, leading the team to resolve issues.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Proven experience (typically 10 years) in managing SAP projects, with significant experience in SAP S/4HANA implementations or conversions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in SAP Activate or ASAP Project Methodology.
• Successful track record of managing multiple Full Life Cycle Implementations, ensuring end-to-end project delivery.
• Strong understanding of SAP functional modules is essential to effectively oversee and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with complex system integrations and external interfaces.
• Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting.
• Exceptional organizational skills and a proactive approach to follow-up.
• Outstanding leadership capabilities, adept at fostering a positive team environment while driving tasks independently.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with all levels of an organization.
• Proficiency in project management tools.
• Experience with RPA projects is a plus.
  
  

Compensation

$80 - $100 per hour - Dependent on fit and experience.
