LABUR is partnering with a client to on an Agentic AI Engineer who will accelerate agent adoption across the engineering organization. The team is in the early stages of leveraging agentic and AI capabilities and needs someone on the cutting edge of all things agentic to identify tasks ripe for AI delegation, build and deploy agents, and scale usage organization-wide. The goal is to empower engineers to 10x their productivity while offloading time-consuming administrative and toil work to intelligent agents without overcomplicating the approach.

Responsibilities
- Assess day-to-day engineering workflows to identify high-value opportunities for agent automation and build agents to handle those tasks end-to-end
- Design and develop agentic solutions for use cases to support workflow optimizations
- Leverage GitHub Copilot cloud agents, AWS Bedrock, and top-tier AI models to parallelize and accelerate engineering work
- Partner with engineering teams to drive adoption, educate colleagues on agent capabilities, and establish repeatable patterns for scaling agent usage
- Define best practices for agent development and deployment, keeping solutions practical and focused on meaningful productivity gains
- Transition agents from prototype environments into production systems built on C#, .NET Core, TypeScript, and React
- Software engineering background with hands-on experience designing, building, and deploying AI agents
- Deep familiarity with agentic AI patterns, frameworks, and current tooling
- Experience with GitHub Copilot and cloud-based AI agent platforms
- Exposure to AWS services, particularly AWS Bedrock, with a working understanding of cloud-hosted AI infrastructure
- Proficiency in one or more of: C#, .NET Core, TypeScript, or React
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerized deployments
- Ability to translate ambiguous, time-consuming tasks into well-scoped agent solutions that deliver measurable impact
$80-$90 per hour - Dependent on fit and experience.
