Receiving Clerk

Labor Solutions is seeking a Receiving Clerk in Kenosha for a temp-to-hire opportunity. Don’t miss this great chance to join a growing team!

Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM; Sunday 1:30 AM – 10:00 AM
Days Off: Tuesday and Sunday
Pay Rate: $18/hour

Job Requirements:
Strong data entry skills, attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skills, basic computer/email proficiency, bilingual (English/Spanish preferred). Resume and interview required. Background check required.

Job Duties:

• Inspect incoming shipments for damage, shortages, or discrepancies by comparing against invoices, manifests, and other records.
• Perform data entry and documentation, including recording shipment details (weight, damage, inventory logs) and updating inventory systems using computer systems.
• Manage inventory by unloading, sorting, and distributing incoming materials to the appropriate departments or storage areas.
• Communicate with vendors and carriers, including truck drivers, to resolve shipment issues.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment. May operate equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks.
• Down-stack product to properly fit racking.
• Receive product into the system using RF scanners.
• Verify quantities and product descriptions.
• Confirm trailers are clean and odor-free.
• Lift up to 50 lbs repetitively as needed.
• Work under supervisor direction.
• Pick orders using scanning guns, following system sequence unless otherwise directed due to shipping priorities.
• Properly check out and check in all equipment used, and accurately respond to required questions during use.
