Receiving Clerk
Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is in partnership with a prominent client in Spring Grove within the manufacturing industry. Shipping Supervisor Job Summary:
Job Statement: Appropriately receive materials and verify quantities. Performs tasks in the areas of maintaining raw material shelves, checking in packages, labeling, and documenting in the computer. Maintain good communication with leaders and purchasing personnel. May have contact with nonconforming material. Works under general supervision.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Safely unload/load incoming trucks using pallet jacks.
Prepare daily reports documenting all incoming FedEx and UPS shipments.
Verify that all incoming packages and shipments match the accompanying vendor documentation.
Perform system transactions by entering received goods into the ERP system in a timely and accurate manner.
Weigh packages to confirm the accuracy of shipping weights against vendor labels.
Perform cycle counts by metering wire and cable.
Investigate inventory discrepancies and provide findings to the Purchasing Department.
Prepare/pack outgoing shipments; assist Shipping Department with related tasks as needed.
Carry materials up and down stairs to and from the stockroom.
Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
Ability to work while standing most of the day.
Ability to maintain a brisk pace to ensure timely receipt of deliveries.
Ability to walk up/down stairs many times during the day, while carrying boxes up to 60 lbs

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed and uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Well-lit, climate-controlled facility. Low to moderate noise level. Wire, cable and terminal debris and compressed air tools. While performing the essential duties of the job, the employee will spend the majority of their time on their feet.

- Must be able to work OT.
