Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of forklifts and heavy equipment, ensuring the efficient movement of materials within the distribution center. This role is critical in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting overall warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, including order pickers, clamp trucks, and cranes, to move materials safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse.
• Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and ensure accurate order fulfillment.
• Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper handling of goods to prevent damage.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Perform routine inspections on equipment to ensure proper functionality and report any mechanical issues.
• Collaborate with warehouse management to optimize workflow and improve operational processes.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while operating heavy equipment within the facility.

• Requirements
• Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role within a warehouse or distribution center environment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is preferred.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and effectively, including various types of forklifts.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
• Must possess valid forklift certification or be willing to obtain one prior to employment.
