What You’ll Be Doing

- Actively participate in standard training programs and approach all encounters with residents, guests, and co‑workers in a gracious, attentive, and courteous manner.
- Operate wheelchair lifts and drive the small passenger bus for outings, events, medical appointments, errands, and other destinations according to established guidelines.
- Perform minor preventive maintenance on community vehicles, maintain emergency supplies, complete inspections, report deficiencies, and maintain interior cleanliness.
- Assist residents in and out of vehicles, load and unload walkers and wheelchairs, remain knowledgeable of emergency procedures, and perform other duties as assigned.
- Minimum of 1 year's experience in driving cars and/or buses, transportation services, or a related field.
- Valid driver’s license and meet Pacific Retirement Services' (PRS’s) Employment Driver Guidelines.
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) class A, B, or C and Department of Transportation (DOT) medical certificate is preferred.
