What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide routine and special laundry cleaning and ironing services for residents and departments, supporting a progressive customer service culture.
- Receive, sort, clean, fold, iron, and distribute laundry to and from the laundry room in an organized and efficient manner.
- Operate and maintain commercial washers, dryers, and ironing equipment safely and according to manufacturer guidelines.
- Perform routine and specialized laundry cleaning for resident linens, Health Center, and Dining Services areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, follow safety procedures, respond calmly to emergencies, and perform other duties as assigned.
- Minimum of one year of experience in laundry services or a related field preferred.
- Ability to operate commercial laundry and ironing equipment.
- Knowledge of green laundry solutions, detergents, and related supplies.
- Ability to read and understand labels and instructions.
- Positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and comfort working with residents and team members.
