Position Summary
The Student Biology Chemical Hygiene Assistant (CHA) assists the Biology Department Manager with achieving & maintaining chemical hygiene protocol and records, which include (but are not limited to) semi-annual physical inventories of all Biology Department chemicals, maintaining inventory records, organizing chemicals into correct storage groups, maintaining SDS libraries, enforcing GHS standards.
Work schedule will be established at time of hire, and weekly estimated time requirement is 15 to 20 hours.

After completion of the application process you will be contacted for an interview by the direct supervisor.

- Must be a La Sierra University student currently enrolled in the Fall 2025 quarter & maintain student status for the entire Academic Year
- Should be cleared and able to start work on or before the desired start date September 29
- Must have completed both CHEM 281/L and 282/L with a grade of B or higher, or CHEM111/L, 112/L, 113/L with grade of B or higher within the last 3 years
