Duties

• Operate commercial laundry machines to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing with precision and care
• Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results
• Perform routine cleaning of laundry areas, including washing stations, folding tables, and storage spaces to uphold safety and hygiene standards
• Handle special cleaning requests such as dry cleaning or stain removal when necessary
• Maintain accurate records of laundry loads processed and monitor inventory levels of supplies like detergents and fabric softeners
• Assist in maintaining overall cleanliness of guest rooms and public areas by supporting housekeeping staff as needed
• Follow all safety protocols related to handling chemicals, operating machinery, and maintaining a clean work environment

Experience

• Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Knowledge of laundry equipment operation, including washers, dryers, and dry cleaning machines is advantageous
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify stains or fabric issues promptly
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Excellent organizational skills with a focus on safety procedures related to cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Previous hotel experience is a plus but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning new skills is highly valued
