Hotel Laundry Attendant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, towels, and garments are laundered, dried, and pressed to meet the high standards of cleanliness and presentation expected in a hotel environment. This role is essential in maintaining the overall guest experience by providing fresh and clean items promptly.

Responsibilities

• Launder hotel linens, towels, and guest garments using appropriate washing techniques and chemicals.
• Operate washing machines, dryers, and pressing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Sort and categorize items based on fabric type and cleaning requirements.
• Inspect laundered items for quality assurance, ensuring they are free from stains or damage.
• Fold, hang, or package cleaned items as per hotel standards for easy distribution.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and report any shortages to management.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures while handling cleaning agents and equipment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a laundry role, preferably within a hotel or dry cleaning environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to operate laundry machinery effectively with attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of laundry services.
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
