Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly as they arrive in the breakfast area, providing friendly and attentive service throughout their meal.
- Prepare and replenish breakfast items, including hot foods, cold dishes, beverages, and snacks, following food safety standards.
- Set up and maintain buffet stations, ensuring all food displays are attractive, well-stocked, and hygienic.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as slicing fruit, assembling breakfast plates, or refilling condiments as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area by cleaning tables, counters, utensils, and equipment regularly.
- Buss tables promptly to ensure a tidy environment for all guests
- Handle guest inquiries professionally via phone or in person, providing information about breakfast offerings or hotel amenities
- Follow food handling procedures diligently to uphold food safety standards and prevent contamination.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality by demonstrating excellent communication skills and guest relations.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service, catering, or hospitality environments is highly preferred; kitchen experience is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Experience in food preparation, meal assembly or buffet setup is advantageous.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting trays or cleaning supplies.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to cleanliness and detail.
- Previous roles involving bussing tables, serving guests, or host/host duties are beneficial.
- Experience working in hotel environments
