Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing friendly and professional customer service at all times
- Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently using hotel management software
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with a positive attitude, ensuring guest satisfaction
- Conduct nightly audits of all financial transactions, reservations, and room charges to ensure accuracy
- Maintain detailed records of daily revenue, expenses, and other operational data for reporting purposes
- Oversee multi-line phone systems and respond promptly to guest calls with courteous phone etiquette
- Monitor security cameras and conduct routine safety checks to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing reports, updating guest information, and managing reservations
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs swiftly and effectively
- Uphold hotel policies, procedures, and standards to deliver consistent guest experiences in a resort or hotel setting
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations, preferably including night audit responsibilities
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guests effectively
- Strong knowledge of hotel management systems and multi-line phone systems
- Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette and guest relations
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform night audit procedures diligently
- Previous experience working in a resort or similar hospitality environment is preferred
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts in a fast-paced setting; ability to stand for extended periods is essential
