Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Hotel Maintenance Engineer to ensure the optimal operation and safety of our hotel facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in industrial maintenance, electrical and mechanical systems, and have experience working in manufacturing or similar environments. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of hotel equipment and infrastructure, including HVAC systems, hydraulics, electrical components, and mechanical systems. The Maintenance Engineer will also utilize schematics, CMMS software, and precision measuring instruments to perform inspections and repairs efficiently. Candidates with a background in industrial electrician experience, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and field service are highly preferred. Fluency in English and excellent customer service skills are essential for effective communication with staff and vendors.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC/R systems, hydraulics, electrical wiring (including high voltage and low voltage), and mechanical equipment.
- Troubleshoot complex issues using schematics, analysis skills, and diagnostic tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters.
- Repair or replace faulty components utilizing welding ( welding), mechanical knowledge, and precision measuring instruments.
- Operate industrial equipment such as scissor lifts safely to access high or hard-to-reach areas.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities within CMMS software for tracking and compliance purposes.
- Assist with field service operations, including repairs on-site at various hotel locations or manufacturing facilities if required.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations related to high voltage, electrical work, and industrial mechanics.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules that minimize disruption to hotel operations.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to ensure guest safety and comfort.
Experience
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance within manufacturing facilities or similar environments.
- Strong background in electrical systems, including industrial electrician experience, high voltage, low voltage systems, and the use of diagnostic tools like ammeters and ohmmeters.
- Hands-on experience with HVAC/R systems, hydraulics, welding (including welding), mechanical repair, and schematics interpretation.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CMMS software, and analysis skills for troubleshooting complex machinery issues.
- Experience working with industrial mechanics, field service operations, or military maintenance roles is advantageous.
- Ability to read technical schematics and perform precision measurements using specialized instruments.
- Excellent customer service skills combined with strong analysis skills to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical staff.
