Executive Housekeeper

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive experience in cleaning and janitorial services, and a thorough understanding of hospitality industry requirements. This role is vital in ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all guests and staff.

Duties

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all areas are cleaned to company standards
• Supervise and train housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and service quality
• Coordinate scheduling and assign tasks to team members efficiently
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas to maintain cleanliness standards
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper stock levels
• Implement and monitor health and safety policies related to cleaning practices
• Collaborate with management to develop and improve housekeeping procedures
• Address guest requests or complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction
• Maintain documentation of cleaning schedules, inspections, and staff performance

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services within a hospitality or industrial setting
• Prior hotel experience or background in hospitality management is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning methods
• Leadership skills with experience managing a team of housekeeping staff
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
• Knowledge of safety standards related to cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties and supervise staff throughout shifts
