Housekeeper

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Part-Time Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. In this role, you will maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and comfort across guest rooms and public areas. Because hotel hospitality operates 365 days a year, this position requires availability on weekends, major holidays, and during peak travel periods.

Key Responsibilities

• Guest Room Cleaning: Thoroughly clean assigned guest rooms, including changing linens, making beds, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets, sweeping/mopping floors, and sanitizing bathrooms.
• Restocking Amenities: Replenish room supplies, toiletries, towels, and guest collateral according to hotel standards.
• Property Maintenance: Inspect rooms for damaged fixtures, stained linens, or broken equipment, immediately reporting maintenance issues to management.
• Public & Service Area Upkeep: Clean common areas, hallways, stairwells, and linen closets as assigned.
• Inventory & Cart Management: Stock and organize housekeeping carts at the beginning and end of each shift; safely handle cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Guest Relations: Respond promptly, politely, and professionally to guest requests, inquiries, or complaints.
• Safety & Security: Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines (including OSHA guidelines). Ensure guest room doors are securely locked upon leaving.

Schedules & Availability Requirements

• Work Type: Part-time (typically 8 to 30 hours per week).
• Schedule: Day shifts starts at 8:00 AM
• Mandatory Availability: Regular weekend coverage (Saturdays and Sundays) and major holidays (e.g., Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day).
