Job Summary
The Seasonal Maintenance Assistant is responsible for supporting the maintenance team in keeping the hotel’s facilities and grounds safe, clean, and operational. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone with general maintenance experience and a can-do attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance tasks throughout the hotel
- Maintain the swimming pool (including cleaning and water testing)
- Assist with basic plumbing and electrical repairs
- Complete landscaping duties such as mowing, trimming, and outdoor upkeep
- Respond to guest and staff maintenance requests promptly and professionally
- Inspect equipment and report issues to the Maintenance Manager
- Ensure all maintenance work is performed safely and up to standard
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with pool maintenance, basic plumbing, basic electrical work, and landscaping is strongly encouraged
- Basic knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Must be reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
