Position Overview
The Front Desk Agent is responsible for welcoming guests, managing check-ins and check-outs, handling reservations and room assignments, and ensuring a smooth and positive guest experience from arrival to departure. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Manage guest check-ins and check-outs accurately and efficiently
- Handle reservations, cancellations, and room assignments
- Process payments and verify billing information
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Follow all hotel policies and procedures
- Assist guests with inquiries, concerns, and special requests
- Support breakfast service when needed
- Collaborate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (hospitality experience preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
