What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at La Quinta Inn and Suites?
We are seeking a friendly and responsible Maintenance Technician to join our small team, to respond to hotel needs and guest requests.
* Complete repairs as needed and perform preventative maintenance tasks,as well as being available to assist our team members and hotel guests.
* A functional understanding of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and general repairs will be needed for the position.
* Swimming pool and hot tub maintenance (salt-based) is an important part of the position.
* Attention to cleanliness, having a good attitude, following direction, and being dependable are all required.
* Guest service skills are most important. You must be friendly, helpful, and guest-minded at all times.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
