Job Title: Material Planner
Location: Philadelphia, PA (Onsite, 100%)

Position Overview
The Material Planner is responsible for demand management and repair flow coordination for both company assets and customer-owned property. This role supports customer requirements by evaluating material availability, managing stock levels, and releasing purchase requisitions for repairs through both external suppliers and internal repair stations. The position requires close coordination with multiple departments and direct communication with customers to ensure timely and accurate parts availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate, analyze, and execute material requirements and demand categories; manage workload for internal repair stations (20%).
- Create and release purchase requisitions to supply chain; generate internal orders for part transfers across plants (60%).
- Manage customer property repairs, including profit analysis, quotation creation, and maintaining the customer open order book (10%).
- Communicate directly with customers and internal stakeholders to provide updates and resolve issues (5%).
- Monitor and track the flow of parts through the repair process (5%).
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent work experience.
Experience:
- 1–3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Operational knowledge of SAP and planning software.
- Experience working in a multicultural environment with strong communication skills.
Preferred Certifications:
- ISM or APICS certifications (preferred but not required).
